As an autism Dad, I am very grateful to President Trump and Secretary Kennedy for taking bold action to address the autism crisis in this country. I don’t know for sure what has caused the astronomical increase in autism in our children, especially our boys like my youngest son, but I do know, the scientific and medical capabilities of the government that my tax dollars pay for were not addressing the challenge in any meaningful way until this administration took office. As I’ve analyzed what I heard in the Tylenol press conference, my concerns were confirmed. We have known about the Tylenol concerns on fetal development, but parents have never been fully informed of the risks. That is inexcusable and we, our community, has a responsibility to maintain our skepticism and push for total informed consent in every case.
